Updated PASS List of People I Want To Meet

UPDATED: I have not had a lot of time to blog from the Summit. Hopefully I can find some time today to assemble some coherent thoughts.

UPDATED: I will cross off the names of the people I have had the chance to meet already.

Here is an updated list of people heading (hopefully) to PASS that I intend to stalk meet for the first time.

  • Aaron Alton
  • Andrew Clarke
  • Rod Colledge
  • Jack Corbett
  • Pinal Dave
  • Phil Factor
  • Arlene Gray
  • Jason Hall (the one from Red Gate, which I will now just call J-Red)
  • Chris Massey
  • Jason Massie
  • Paul Randal-Tripp
  • Peter Shire
  • Nic Smith
  • Colin Stasiuk
  • Kimberly L. Tripp (I am just going to call her KLT, because it is close enough to BLT)
  • Michelle Ufford
  • Kendal Van Dyke
  • Arnie Rowland
  • Erland Sommarskog
  • Ken Simmons
  • Suzanna Moran
  • Don Gabor
  • Jen McCown
  • Sean McCown (because if i said i only wanted to meet his wife and not him that would be rude and he would threaten me with kempo)
  • Johannes Bez
  • Jonathan Gennick
  • Jeff Rush
  • Jason Strate
  • Lori Edwards
  • Robert Cain
  • Peter Schott
  • Wes Brown
  • Arnie Rowland
  • Jimmy May
  • Lara Rubbelke
  • Patrick Leblanc
  • Lee Anne Pedersen

I’ll keep adding names to the list, let me know if you are attending…and if you want to meet…or if you would prefer I stay away from you and you don’t want to bother with a restraining order.

For those that will not be able to attend the Summit this year, I want to offer you some tips on some of the various Twitter hashtags that may be in use during the first week in November.

  • #sqlpass
  • #pass09
  • #quizbowl
  • #eightdollarbeers
  • #-CELKO-
  • #passrocks
  • #passawesomeness
  • #sqlbingo
  • #freetshirts
  • #noNDAhere
  • #bacon
  • #sqlpalooza
  • #jaeger
  • #tattoos
  • #jeremiahcagematch
  • #jeremiahlookshurt
  • #call911

Chances are if you do a search for those hashtags you will probably be able to keep up with all of the activities for the week.

  1. What about Andrew, Tony and Chris from the Simple-Talk team? Don’t you want to talk to them? Steve Jones and Brad?

  4. Phil, will you be attending as well? I would love to add your name to the list. And what about Robyn?

  5. I’m probably going to be there. It is a great place to catch up with old friends. Robyn and Chris (her husband) have got a small daughter and it is too far to travel.

  11. Well, I may wave from afar if I don’t get to meet you in person. Hoping to actually meet more people this time around. Although I do plan to try to fill out the “Super Bingo” card even though I’m officially a square and can’t win anything. I was in it before I knew there were prizes. :)

  12. I am not square there and I will try to win.

  13. Well, it’s not for the first time, mind you, but I wouldn’t mind grab some eggs and – you know – one morning with you, if you’re up for breakfast.

  15. Thank you for the hash-tags for those of us not there, but can be there in spirit. I couldn’t make sqlpass this year, but will be aiming for 2010! Take care…
